3D characters
Player bodies are built from the MakeHuman base mesh and morph targets, released by the MakeHuman project under CC0 1.0 Universal. Clothing, hair, shoes, rigging, skin masks and animation were made for this game.
Arenas, courts, sound and logos
Arenas, courts, the crowd, team logos and every sound effect are generated by the game itself. The one third-party image is the Brophy Prep Broncos logo, which belongs to Brophy College Preparatory.
Fonts
Big Shoulders (Patric King) and Barlow (Jeremy Tribby), both under the SIL Open Font License. Fonts are bundled with the site, so no font service is contacted while you play.
Team and school data
The list of Arizona high schools and their classifications and regions comes from the Arizona Interscholastic Association's public 2026-2028 alignment. College lists come from public Wikipedia lists of NCAA institutions. Only factual names, locations and affiliations are used. Every nickname, logo, color scheme, arena name, conference name and player in the game is original and fictional, with one exception: Brophy College Preparatory appears as the Broncos in its real red and white. Those names belong to the school.
Basketball Legends is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NBA, the NCAA, the AIA, or any team, school, college or university.
